Spinach Dip with Water Chestnuts




10 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained very well

1- 24 ounce container of Harmless Harvest yogurt (I’ve tried several brands, and this is my favorite for this recipe

3/4 cup avocado oil mayonnaise (or make your own.  See https://mommypotamus.com/how-to-make-mayo-with-an-immersion-blender-video/)

2 cans water chestnuts

4 tsp onion salt

2 tsp garlic powder

1 1/2 tsp pepper

2 tsp homemade worchestershire sauce 

1 bunch green onions, chopped about ¾ way up to the white

Veggies, or gluten free crackers for dipping


Thaw the spinach and then press out as much liquid as you can. Any additional liquid will make the dip more loose.

Chop the water chestnuts into small pieces.  Add all the ingredients into a bowl and mix well.  

Best made the day before.  This is delicious with rice crackers or any gluten free cracker or bread.
